I have read the whole series of the Skulls - you fall in love with each and everyone. You see the hardness and the softer side of these sexy Alpha men. Murphy and Tate were awesome
Lots of Hot sex, Lots of twists and turns with gun fights and revenge. The stories are great and Sam Crescent has a great way of telling the stories.
However some of the books had not been edited correctly. There were a few grammar and spelling errors along the way. However they were ones that i was more than willing to overlook as i was enthralled with the stories.
These two words really describe this book well. The two main characters are both sassy and strong in their own ways. I love the way they fight and bicker at one another only to tumble into each other's arms at the end of the arguments. They are both super strong willed and it pays off in the end. I loved this book and I really enjoyed the fact that the heroine has a lot of brat in her personality. For me an alpha can never be too alpha, but I love it when the author matches that with the compliment of a strong sassy female. This book has it in spades!
Murphy has done all this for Tate and now she won't give him the time of day. She is hurt and unable to reconcile what the club really means to her. When drama happens and the town is threatened to become a drug home base, Tate begins to realize what Murphy has done and see the bigger picture.

I enjoyed this book and am loving the The Skulls.
I really love Sam Cresent. This series is so well written. Everything flows without filler or dead spots.
The Skulls MC keeps order in Fort Willis not allowing trouble or drugs to invade their town. This is not to say they are innocent of any wrong doing, they have many nefarious dealings, but not where their women and children live.
Tate , the President's daughter, and Murphy have a tumultuous history. They were best of friends until he left the Skulls for a rival club that practiced evil methods. Over the years Tate's love turned to hatred over Murphy's deception. When he returns begging forgiveness she wants nothing to do with him. She leaves the club and all her family behind to have a life away from the confinement and rules and especially away from Murphy.
I'm jumping right into the next book. Did I mention how much I liked this series?
This series just keeps getting better and better! This is book #2 of the "The Skulls." This was Murphy and Tate's book, and I loved these two as a couple. They had a past that included a huge betrayal from Murphy. He was a prospect who was in charge of taking care of Tate. Mainly because Tate has a huge target on her back from being the daughter of the president of the club. From the time Tate was sixteen, Murphy was by her side through so much. He even took her to her prom, and protected her from a lot of the mean girls that teased Tate about her weight. By eighteen, they were both in love with one another, but due to circumstances and a huge betrayal, Murphy went to another Motorcycle Club and Tate was left with a broken heart.

Eight years later, Tate is no longer the soft,sweet girl that she was in her teens. Murphy arrives back into the club, and slowly secrets are revealed and not everything is as it appeared to be. One thing remains the same, and that is when Tate and Murphy are in the same room, sparks fly in a big way. Tate is bitter though, and won't give him the time of day. Murphy so badly wants her back, and will do anything in his power to possess her again. Tate is a hard sell though, as she is tired of coming second to the club. Her dad put her second, and then Murphy; she decides she has had enough and leaves the club to try things on her own. There is danger lurking in the shadows though, and Tate is not safe. Will she ever be able to forgive Murphy? Will Tate realize that the club life is where she belongs, or will she find that a new life is what she needs? One thing is for sure, and that is this book is full of action, sex, and drama. All of the main reasons why I love reading a book about Motorcycle Clubs.

I loved this book as I got to know all of the members even better the second time around. I am developing my favorites, and eager to read more books on the club members that I am growing to love. This book had way more emotion in it than Lash's book. There was a lot more that went on, as well as there were some events that took place that were heart breaking. All in all, there was a great balance between romance, sex, and a fast paced storyline. I am hooked on this series, and eager to continue on to Nash's story next. It looks like he has fallen in to some big trouble, and I just hope he will be able to climb out of the hole he is digging for himself very quickly.
Sam Crescent is an author that definitely has my attention now, and I look forward to her future reads!
Heroine was a total hypocrite, she claimed to hate the club life and how badly it treats women. Hero screws all these women all for his club knowing how heroine loves him. Pretty much most of the books in this series seem to have the same theme, men cheat and screw around women just go with it, but are strong and crass toward everyone who they aren't married too or living with. Finally Tate in particular as the series goes on, I like her less and less. It is as though she gains all the qualities she at first detested in her father and the club, the very qualities that broke her heart in the first place, sad irony.
