This was an action packed , romantic thriller! Lots of twists and turns and the characters were very interesting. LOTS of sex! Mia Dymond writes great books and they are all good reads!
I found the authors lack of follow through to be Positively Criminal. When I purchased this book there was no indication that is was book 2 in a series. So when you start reading you already feel like you missed out on something. Once you figure out that you aren't confused the story starts to pull you in. Then the story stalls.
The story was nothing new. Boy and girl have the hots for each other and play cat and mouse. When they do hook up there are lots of dirty words and description but nothing that makes the reader go, "Yeah, they are finally together."
As I continued to get disappointed with the story I started to see how ludicrous and unbelieveable things were. Seriously, Dr. Miller gives lap dances in her spare time. She is so good she teaches other girls how to do them and make money. Yet she feels the need to wear a wig and contacts as a disguise.
This story could have gone so many ways that would have been more interesting but didn't.
I am sorry to say the only reason I finished this book is that I didn't have much on hand to read. She had a decent plot, but she did not portray it with any suspense or finesse. If you wanted to guess what was going to happen next you could count on being right. It just lumbered along, even the wrap up didn't save it for me.
If you take one alpha detective and one determined Doctor what do you get? fireworks! This story from Mya, although different from book one, was fabulous. The relationship between these two is butting heads with lots of love. I look forward to book 3
Mia Dymond does it again! This book contains an Alpha hero, a strong Leading Lady and a storyline that does not disappoint. This isn't a sticky, ooey-gooey, rot-your-teeth, romance. It is a burn your fingers, scorch your knickers, fast-paced, romance that will leave you wondering where is and what's next for Primrose, Minnesota!
love the entire series. Each book has a Hero and a woman who needs one, each with a different story line and ends in a HEA. All the stories could be a bit more developed and less predictable. Although all are enjoyable and fun to read. I Highly recommend the entire series.
Oh here we go again Mia Dymond doing her thing. I really enjoyed this book it's just awesome. It took me in a direction I did not think it would go with all of the suspense. The encounter between Jake and Bri were exciting and steamy. I have read other books by Mia Dymond so I had to choose this one. Will continue to the next book by this author. Of course I would recommend this book to my friends and family.
